Cleves East Sussex ,BN7

Medieval Heritage site for production Cleves House formed part of the divorce settlement with King Henry V111.

The house is a great example of a late medieval Wealden Hall-House.

Dating from 14th Century, the property was partly ‘modernised’ in the 16th and 17th Centuries.

There are pretty gardens with Tudor planning schemes.

Grade 1 listed.
